Following a management buyout in April 2016, simplecall business Ltd was renamed to SCB Global in September 2016. With the launch of our new brand, also came the launch of our new updated website. It is a very exciting continuation of our journey as a company and growth. Simplecall business was thrilled to be appointed as an approved supplier by HM Government on its G cloud initiative in the UK. Sunday 11th Oct, was the big day, and we were lucky to have the brilliant sunshine all day with great hospitality. We were with the Handy Motorsport division, and their driver Simon Belcher. We were all made to feel part of the team on the starting grid and in the team paddocks.

The conference, titled “Jobs and Innovation: Making the South East the Capital of Social Enterprise”, consisted of speakers and workshops designed to celebrate the South East’s award-winning organisation and inform delegates about new resources and funds available. Sectors ranged from employability and health to manufacturing and creative. The sessions were designed not only to give insights into the world class opportunities available in this field, but also to shape future work plans.

simplecall business sponsored the inaugural conference for a new regional think tank looking at the challenges facing the South of England, which was held at the University of Winchester Nov. 20th .
The conference, titled The New Localism: What Does It Offer The South?, was hosted by the University of Winchester, along with Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, Cabinet Minister for Universities, Cities, and Science, and Lord Andrew Adonis, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure. Local politicians, businesses and academics were all present to take part in the discussion about localism, addressing the needs of the region.
